Uses Patanol is an antihistamine used to prevent itching of the eyes due to allergies. How To Use Follow the directions for using Patanol provided by your doctor. Side Effects SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include headache, mild stinging or burning, eye pain, dryness of the eye, redness in the eye, or tearing.
